Our Doggy Daycare offers your pet a fun way to spend the day while you're at work. We will keep your pet occupied with a day full of fun and activities. The dogs enjoy free supervised play in our indoor training room, as well as long romps outside in our play yards with breaks for rest and relaxation as well. All Social Club dogs must be spayed or neutered.
All dogs joining our Doggy Daycare program must be evaluated for temperament so that we may gauge their comfort level and find the most appropriate play group for your pet. We do our best to pair your pet with size and energy appropriate friends to keep activity level as even as possible in an effort to not overwhelm your pup. Evaluations for your pet are $50 for the day and will be scheduled with our trainer and conducted throughout a day-long series of exposures with other approved daycare dogs. Upon completion of this evaluation, you will receive a report card detailing who your dog met, what the trainer observed, and what our recommendations are based upon your dog's behavior and comfort level. A dog may experience behavior changes over time and with age, and it may be necessary to reevaluate your dog's interactive skills at another point in their program participation. Thank you for giving your dog the gift of socialization along with the mental and physical stimulation they thrive upon to stay successful when meeting, greeting, and playing with other dogs!
If your pup is new to the daycare scene, our trainer would be happy to work with your pup in one-on-one socialization sessions to get your dog ready for social interactions in a group or to become more comfortable with dog-to-dog introductions. Appointments are dependent on trainer's schedule and availability.
Please drop off all Doggy Daycare, Socialization, and scheduled Evaluations between the hours of 7am-10am and pick them up between 4pm and 6pm. |

Information & Frequently Asked Questions
 Required Vaccinations: DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordatella (canine cough) H3N8 & H3N2 Canine Influenza (two boosters) we defer to your vet's judgment on vaccine durations
All vaccines must be current at least 14 days before your appointment.
All new-to-you dogs must have been in your home and healthy for 30 days prior to boarding. This includes found strays, foster dogs, puppies from breeders or friends, and recent adoptees from shelters, private rescues, and individuals. In addition, all adult dogs with an unknown vaccine history will need proof of two Distemper/Parvo vaccines prior to boarding with us. Dogs under a year of age must be able to supply proof of three Distemper/Parvo vaccines, with at least two given by a veterinarian. We require vaccines be updated at least 14 days prior to your arrival date for boarding. Call us with any questions!
All Daycare and Socialization participants over the age of 6 months must be spayed or neutered.
So what do you need to do? If your dog has never participated in Daycare here before, please fill out our online Canine Questionnaire. We will process your information, verify vaccines, and be in touch with you to schedule your Evaluation. On your Evaluation day, please drop your dog off by 10:00 am, with their breakfast. During the day, your dog will meet multiple dogs and be evaluated on their play skills and comfort level here. You can pick up your dog between 4pm and 6pm. You'll be provided with a report card of how the evaluation went and be informed as to if your dog is approved for daycare or if more socialization sessions are needed.
Tours are given Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from either 10:30 am to Noon or from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. If you have any questions or concerns not answered here, please feel free to call or email and ask us!
J-Canine is a Force-Free Facility!! This means we do not advocate the use of aversive methods or equipment to help manage your dog’s behavior, or train with the use of electronic collars, prong / pinch collars, or choke chain collars. We respectfully request that you leave these types of equipment at home and bring your dog on a plain collar, head halter, or front-clip harness. We also invite you to participate in “force-free” methods by enlisting the help of our Certified Trainer for pain-free solutions.
For bedding, each guest will be supplied with a comfortable raised Kuranda bed with sheepskin blanket. We also have some thicker and fuzzier beds for our guests that need them. Because of our cleaning and sanitation procedures, we ask that you leave your big fluffy beds at home. We promise your dog will have somewhere comfortable to sleep between play sessions!
--All pets will be checked for fleas upon check-in, and will be treated at the owner's expense immediately (ranging from a Capstar pill to a flea bath).
